K2 v 2.5.1 ships with or uses jQuery 1.X.X versions either locally or from the Google CDN (1.6.3 or older locally or 1.6.x from the CDN).

Problem: Recent versions of Webkit in Chrome write endless messages to the console saying
"event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit"

Solution: Use jQuery 1.7 as it fixes (removes) the use of event.layerX/Y which stops the annoying console logging.

Problem: It's somewhat difficult to use jQuery 1.7 without replacing one of the local K2 versions of jQuery with a 1.7 version (and misnaming it) or some other such hack that won't be maintainable.

Request: K2 use or provide for the use of jQuery 1.7.
