I am a new user to K2. I downloaded this because I am attempting to have an easy way for my registered users to submit new articles for use on my site.

When I click my menu item which should take me to a submission form I get an error instead:

Any idea why I would get this, and how I may be able to reach the form I need?...

Thanks in advance.

pandemoniumgames.com
a test registered user is;
username: test2
pw: test

404 error

Bad karma: we can't find that page!

You asked for pandemoniumgames.com/index2.php?Itemid=292, but despite our computers looking very hard, we could not find it. What happened ?

the link you clicked to arrive here has a typo in it
or somehow we removed that page, or gave it another name
or, quite unlikely for sure, maybe you typed it yourself and there was a little mistake ?

Also, my users do not have access to a "submit item" from the login module like they should

I made some progess.

I have found that when I uninstall my sh404SEF extension then the item edit form works as it should. has anyone else had issues with sh404SEF affecting how K2 works? I need to determine how to get htem to work together.

Thanks,

-K

looks like you have sh404 installed
in sh404 try purging your urls.

if that doesnt solve it
try disabling sh404
then purge urls again

if that solves it
then its something to do with sh404.

hope that sets you on the right path

Def has something to do with sh404sef. Ive purged URLs many times, uninstalled sh404sef, resinstalled it, etc. etc. Something in sh404sef is really messin with K2.

k2 is built to work with sh404 so you really shouldnt have any major problems.
try deleting the 404 requests - sometimes this does the trick.

Just uninstalled sh404sef, and reinstalled it with a clean slate. Immediatly had the same effect on K2. unable to create content from front end. leads to 404 error when using item edit form module.
