I'm going to work with K2. Going to make a huge website with content which can be sorted with filters using extra fields in K2.
What I want to integrate is a Google maps map in each article which shows the place the article is about. But I want to integrate a search function too. Where people can insert their own zip-code or town and distance, for example 50km. Then they have to see which articles are the nearest.
I found a extension to insert google maps in K2 but no extension to search.

Can anybody help me to make this happen?

I've never heard of searching for an article by location! There is an extension to use Google Maps to give you directions to somewhere, so I don't know if you think that might help, I believe it only has one location however.

The best option I can think of is perhaps doing a search by tags and perhaps tagging states/counties and letting people choose from a list of those?
