A friend submitted an item and it looks fine except for the fact that on the category page the author is listed as "guest." this is because I am not logged in. When I do log in the author of the item is listed as my username.
I have several usernames and if I log in as a different user then I see that username there where the true authors name should be.

When I click the item title to read it my friend's username is listed as author as it should be.

So what is wrong here?
Category page will list item author as whoever is viewing it depending on username or as "guest" if not logged in. But the actual item article page lists the true author.

How do I fix this?
Is this a bug?

I tested K2 on my site logging in as different users and writing different test articles. None of them ever behaved this way. The minute I get a friend from California to post an item, suddenly I see this problem.
