hello
ive just changed everything over to k2 which is great by the way :)
but i cant figure out how to change the colour of the background on the comment box,more in this category bar and be the first to comment bar, its currently white but my template is black

i have had a good google search and also on here but cant seem to find a fix or where to do it, i think its css but unsure where abouts that is
ive tried changing the k2.css file but it didnt make a difference
hope someone can help

Hello Toast

The css you're looking for is on the k2 stylesheet; (/components/com_k2/css/k2.css)

Use FIrebug to identify it on the site. I then use eXtplorer for editing css within the admin panel. makes life much easier rather than going back and forwards ftp...ing

just one last thing lol
im trying to remove the view items text/link , i thought it might be in the category.php file,looked in .css too but couldnt find it

first off, happy to help. this is the first time i've felt confident enough to respond to someone else's problems and am very happy to help if I can. I would never have been able to get into joomla or k2 if it wasn't for the help i've received on the forums, so,just paying it forward and ........... you're very welcome :-)

You're current issue......

are you trying to change the appearance of the link, or removeit altogether?

To change the appearance, on my site it's:
div.catItemReadMore a (k2.css line 490)

To remove it, don't you just turn it off in the Item View Options Category View

Please let me know if I am missing the point.

thats what i thought but i cant seem to get rid of them , the only way they disappear is if i hide cat blocks lol
its the same for another section too
not to worry ive kind of got used to them now
