Fatal Error was created by etkritikonspoudon

After installing K2 v2.5.3 I noticed that in the components menu it displayed com_k2 instead of K2; it would only display the menu item as K2 when I had actually navigated to it....weird....

Then I tried setting the Parameters...clicked the Parameters button and i was greeted with this message

Ok, I figured it out...

It seems that after installation, although the K2 System Plugin is installed and enabled, in my case at least, despite being already enabled by installation, it was read by K2 Information as being disabled, falsely...

So I went to the Plugin Manager, open the settings, resaved immediately and then it was properly recognized as being enabled...

Just in case anyone ever stumbled across this frustrating silly behaviour...

Similar problem on newly installed K2 when submitting article.

Fatal error: Call to a member function isHTML() on a non-object in... plugins/k2/notifyadmin/notifyadmin.php on line 218

Tried disabling K2 System plugin and saving, then enabling plug in and saving as suggested but still get error.

I am using K2 Version 2.5.6. The culprit is NotifyAdmin plug-in which is only available for 1.5

Any help???
