Facebook link thumbs was created by Alen

Hey there, i've been searching for answer for a month now and i can't find the answer. The problem i am having is that when i add new K2 item and when i share it on facebook it doesn't show any images that are in article as thumbs. So i am wondering can any of you help me fix this.

I am using Joomla 1.7.3 with k2 2.5.3. You can check my website at iplayed.com.hr

Hi Alen,

You need to upload an image using the image tab in K2. In your case, the image is in the content of your article with a custom lightbox. If you upload using the image tab, then you can configure which size to use for facebook image. K2 will create the meta image tag according to your setting.

Thanks that worked. Now i only need to figure it out what i need to do in order for FB to grab images that are inside content. Do you maybe know how to?

You're welcome, if i'm not mistaken, you need to have the full URL of the images that you want to use, like

I finaly figure it out. The problem was kinda strange. It seems that mavick thumbs were the source of my problems. When i disabled the plugin and when i commented out the facebook meta tag in item.html, facebook automaticly begin to pull all the pictures from article.

Now the strange part is that i enabled mavick today and fb still pulled pictures, but nvm now cos i finaly get everything to work.

I have the same problem as well. This used to work, but does not after upgrade joomla from version 2.5.3 to 2.5.4 and K2 from version 2.5.5 to version 2.5.6.

For what i figure out it as something to do the the opengraph integration ok k2 and the meta tag insert of images. But no solution so far. If someone knows how pease give a help

My problem was with mavick thumbs plugin. I disabled it and i also removed this
