Module - Custom Code Settings was created by vivaasia
Hi Guys, I am using a joomlart template and building a site that uses K2.

I noticed in the Module Manager: Module K2 tools, that there is a box called Custom Code Settings.

Does anyone know if I can add code in there to change the number of columns that the items display in? Is it actually that simple. And if so could someone give me some pointers on the code I need to add?

The module is currently at www.myjakartaconcierge.com/in...id=587&lang=en

I would like to change the from one column to 2 columns.

Thanks Jim

Hi,

Great template!

I don't think it's a module that you're talking about, although your link doesn't seem to work so I can't tell.

If it's not the module, but the component instead, then you don't need to use custom code. You can easily select it to be a two column layout.

The way to do this is by choosing the menu link (I think, it's hard to tell without the link working), and then choose the option for leading items and set it to two. You can also set how many appear as leading items, and how many following items will appear. I'm guessing you may set this as a very high number and it would seem to work forever.

If it is a module, you can do the same thing, but you must go to module manager, find the module and set it there.

You can also set it by category I think.

Hi Eoin,

It is definitely a module.

However, when I go into the module manager I cannot see anything that would allow me to make it 2 columns?

Hi,

You need to play around with the css to make it display the list in two columns.

Thanks for the input. If I do that will it mean every module will display in 2 columns or can I change the css specific to an individual model?

You can create the css values and use the module class suffix to use it. You can discuss with your template providers.
