I have an 1.7 Joomla with 1.7 template and have imported my doc into K2.
Nothing will show in the mainbody. Do I have to do anything else?
I can get articles into other modules. When I try to assign an article to one meny item, I cannot find the article.

Have you also changed your menus to use K2 categories / K2 items too? Importing the Joomla content is one step, then you have to modify your menus to point to the right places.
