How to set 2 colums on the front page was created by Tomek
Hello I have joomla 1.7 and K2 2.5.4 and joomshaper news II template
I just added new category and created few articles in this category
I set front page of my site to "Latest items by selected categories
I looking for solution how to set two columns view . ( 2 articles in one row)

Under the content source you can set the No of Columns.

I made it but it's still not work correct .
I set two colums in all available field
It's look like in the attached file
There is still one item on the row i try to set two items in one row

Check if there's any template override done by your template provider, can you share the link to your site ?

I checked on the default template and there is that same problem.
I set two columns view in the main menu position settings and i all K2 categories settings.
I can't give you my site link because i using this on my localhost at this moment.
A saw that the two column setting works correct for the menu position but the K2 shows items one per row
This shows the the attached file

Hi Tomek,
You need to use template overrides and edit latest_item.php and add css values to K2.css

I think i can't understand how K2 works
I have structure of categories like that
-main category
- - subcategory1
- - subcategory 2
- - subcategory 3
- - ...
When I set in menu viewing articles from category and i choose category main , set 2 columns and 10 articles then all articles from subcategories are showing in one colum the second column is empty
But when i set in menu viewing articles from categories and I choose subcategory 1, subcategory 2 ... then articles are showing in two columns but there are empty pleaces between articles from other categories .
I looking for solution how to set K2 to shows 10 articles on front page wathever form witch subcategory , just 10 items and 2 columns for one page , also want to enable pagination to another pages witch older articles
I trying to create a news website
