I'm building a section of a website that will make heavy use of page/item specific data and interrelated content bits, so I decided to use K2. However, I will want a way to manually (or automatically) specify a list of content articles (in a non-K2 blog on the same site) that are related to the K2 item. I was disappointed to find out that there isn't a built in way to do this that I can find, either through K2 Extra Fields or the K2 Content module.

The best thing I can think of would be to use a text field Extra Field and then add in article ids like 52,167,288, so that I can then retrieve the articles in the k2 template. This seems so backwards for a sophisticated extension like K2.

Anybody have an extension suggestion or a better way to do this? Thanks.
