I really need to remove the featuring options for my front-end editors.
Any clue?

Adding messages just like the k2 front editor on this site. It as a personal message and No featuring.

Im not sure if I understand you correctly, but, for example in my case, when I have an author (a registered user that is part of K2 Authors group) adding content, they do not even see the option for that nor publishing. Just set publishing rights in the Authors group to NO. Granted, in this case you'll have to (as an admin) publish the content after author has submitted it...
