I want to publish a K2 item for a bunk bed I have for sale. I've created the item and placed it in a category called miscellaneous. However, I do not want to create a menu link to the item. I want to just post a link to that web page on a couple of yahoo groups so people can just click on the link and go to that web page. Is there a way to just create a link to an item without having to create a menu link for it? Hope this made some sense.

Does the Miscellaneous category have a menu link? If so, is it a category blog layout?
I personally may have put something like that into a blog style layout, and you would then have no issues. Maybe a link to your site and I can help more.

Otherwise you will have to create a Hidden Menu that links straight to the article, but your site should at least have a blog link for things like this
