Hello.

Could you explain me please what happend if categories are disabled when I edit K2 item from frontend? Then I cannot save K2 item - I get error - K2 category is missing ...

If your going to add an item to a category from the front end, the category should be enabled or published

Thanks William for your quick response.
Where can I set enabled or published state for category please?

I attached screenshot of that problem.
I'm using Joomla 1.7.3, K2 2.5.4

Go to K2 / Categories - look on the right for the green published button
If your category is already published you probably have not created a user group, and added the user in question to that group, having set the rights to edit and add items in the user group permissions

Thanks William. I have created a new user group and assigned old user to new group with appropriate frontend permission and now it works ok.
