Update of an item results in a white screen

Update of an item results in a white screen was created by Tauvic
When i update an item by pushing the "Save" or "Save & Close" button the screen goes blank.

I actualy receive this:
<html>
<head></head>
<body></body>
</html>

I notice that any changes made by me on the text content are stored but it fails to render a normal response screen. I have done a fresh install and initialy it worked fine after some time this problem popped up.

Does anybody has seen this too? What can be done about this?

Joomla 1.7.3 / PHP 5.3.8 / Windows 7
