Hi everyone!

I use Joomla 1.7.3 and K2 v2.5.1
I have a problem with user registration and auto assign them to K2 user group.

I know that it works fine when i use K2 user registration form - new user appear in joomla and k2 group.

...but...

I want to use standard Joomla registration form (exactly this one from The World News II template from GavickPro - right top corner in popup - demo.gavick.com/joomla16/jul2011 )

So... this form register user in Joomla but he appear in K2 without assigned to any group)

Is there any plugin or hack or any other solution that assign users to K2 group (for example to "Registered Users") ?

it is my understanding the the k2 login was a modification to the core login. I would compare the two and see what k2login is doing in addition, and try to use it instead.
Some template mfgs supply their own login which incorporates both functions and seem to work.
