How can this be done? I can give user permissions to edit items, but they always seem to be involved with the category they are attached..?

So I have categories like:

Footballteam: (main category)
-Boys (sub-category)
--Boys 1998 (sub-category 2)
--Boys 1999 (sub-category 2)
....Article 1
....Article 2
....Article 3
....Article 4
....Article 5

And under Boys 1999 I have 5 articles. I want to give for example User 1 the permission to edit only Article 1. User would have the permission to edit only Article 2.

Now when I am setting permissions, I have only the possibility to give User1 the rights to edit the whole category og Boys 1999 and all the articles under it. So how could this be changes..? I am sure it is pretty easy but.. :)
