I would love the ability to add a description to tag pages, similar to what is offered in category pages. This description block could be used for displaying content, images, adding code or triggering plugins on the tag page. This would also improve on-site SEO, as tag pages contain the same (or very similar) content as category and post pages.

This would be a very useful addition for me, and I bet many other people would appreciate it too! B)

I second that. More love for tag pages. They need at least an anchor link to the comments including a counter and TAGS. I have hacked the core files to achieve the latter but haven't figured out how to hack a comments anchor link yet.

Out of curiosity, is this the right place to submit a feature request? Or is there a better place?
