Hi Everyone, I'm new to K2 and new ish with Joomla. now i have my site build ish but and I am trying to use K2 as my Blog/News now this is where my problem is K2 is letting me down on how it looks (looks awful) can anyone help me or advice me how to custom K2.

I know it can be done but after 42 hours I have hit a brick wall !!!

Please post version numbers of j and k2 you are using as well as the template
also, a link to your site and what you want to change would be helpfull for people to take a look at
search here and in the tutorials for templating for starters

Usually, you want to copy the folder:

yourdomain/components/com_k2/templates

into:

yourdomain/templates/YOUR TEMPLATE/html/com_k2 (you need to create the k2 folder)

You may also want to copy the K2.css into yourdomain/templates/YOUR TEMPLATE/css folder

This will virtually (on the fly) override the K2 templates and stylesheet without modifying the platform's files. Now you can start tweaking the templates and css to your liking.
