is it possible to customize the read more button in K2? I am using joomla 1.7.3 with JCE editor and K2 latest version. In regular joomla articles you can change "read more" to something else. Is this possible in K2?

If you want to change the text check your en-GB.com_k2.ini file and search for read_more
You can also create an override and chage category_item.php, search for read_more for the block of code that displays it

it seems complicated to me so I don't think I will be snooping around in the .ini file or the other one you mentioned.

the reason I am asking is because I read that the read more link affects SEO.

is it possible to request this feature in future versions of K2?

what do you think? is this something I should be worried about? I mean, does the "read more" link really going to affect SEO? is there an alternative? the suggestions you gave me imply that the "read more" would change system-wide....but I was looking for an option to change "read more" text just like in a regular joomla article so that it would correspond with each article's content.
