Hello.

When the user edits own item from frontend and saves it then the item is not visible in the list.
I have to open and save that item as administrator and then is everything ok.

For there users I create a group where I set all permissions except Edit any item.

Something must be wrong with your settings somewhere. On a fresh intall of 1.7 and 2.5.4
a registared userr belonging to a k2 user group with the k2 user group permissions set as you say, I can log in, add item, display it, log out, log back in, edit item and save it, and it displays for both the logged in user and to the public. You havent by chance changed the 1.7 joomla acl settings ?

When I look into appropriate row in #__k2_items I see bad language. Instead sk-SK I see sk only. If I save k2 item in other languages still it saves sk language. How could I resolve this?
