I am having an issue with saving an item from the front end in Joomla 1.7.3 / K2 2.5.4

When saving the item I get a 404 error saying I don't have authorization to view the resource.
The Item does get published, but I cant close out of the popup widow after I save and see the error code.
I have checked all group and user permissions in Joomla and K2.

Is there any way to fix this?

Hi ! Me too got the same problem ! not possible to save any item when I edit it in fronted ! the lightbox window can be closed with Esc Button... But after that I got a error message in fronted (K2_ITEM_MUST_HAVE_A_CATEGORY)

Same problem with Joomla 2.5.1 / K2 2.5.4.

Note : This problem comes only when the user group who try to edit an item, got permission to
"Add items" : NO
"Edit own items" : YES

Exactly. It only works if the "add new item" is active.
