Make more moderators to remove the spam and get the forum better supported! I note that one user is quite active, I'm sure if you look at his posts you could see if he's actually being helpful and probably make a decision on whether or not to allow him to moderate.

I would volunteer too, if you so wanted. I'm sure another two hands could help to at least fight the spam, or else potentially trying some of the components out there might work.
