Comments Form not showing on articles was created by Michal Kranc
Hi,
I have recently installed the latest version of K2 and everything seem to work fantastic but one thing, unfortunately it;s the only thing that I really, really need.
I would just move on normally but I already went ahead and purchased the gallery as recommended. So I would really like to get this to work.
All modules, everything seems to work fine, just that the comments forms do not show with my articles.
At first I thought this is related to permissions & user groups but that is not the case. I even allowed everyone including guests to post for a short time just to see if that helps - nope.
Then I thought perhaps Jquery related ? Not sure, but everything else works so not likely.
I'am hosting with Siteground, running Joomla 2.5 & latest K2.
Any suggestions ? This is driving me totally insane, been at it for two days now.

Upon further testing : Nothing that should show with the articles themselves is showing up.

This is a good example. It's an article within a category that has everything enabled, and so does the article itself. When viewed by a registered user with everything enabled the comments form does not show :
darth.me/index.php/9-swtor-news/8-mmocruch-swtor-drama
Any suggestions would be insanely appreciated! Thank you for the quick reply :)
PS: I included a screenshot of Joomla system info as an attachment.

I am definitely unable to get K2 working on my own at this point.
If I will not be able to get the assistance needed to make the component work will I be able to get a refund on the gallery I just bought for K2 ?

Something to try. Go to K2 Users and click on a user and add them to the group Registered, if not already. Than go to User Groups and select Registered and set to allow commenting. Reload your page and see if a normal registered user can comment.
I just had to manually save all my users as the user group in K2 as they are all registering through JomSocial, which is our default profile handler. Very annoying, should be an option in K2 to use Jomsical profiles which will use the Joomla settings for registered user allowing the comment box to appear automatically without me having to manually allow each user after registration to comment.
