Yes, I am experiencing the same problem on Joomla 1.7.4 . Comments restricted to registered users only work for the Administrators.

This is true after making certain that the user is in the appropriate K2 Group, with the Group assigned permission to post comments in conjunction with using the K2 User module to login.

Feels like a bug or an obscure configuration setting that I cannot find in the documentation.
