same here on my site. just freshly installed K2 and activated Live search results. if i type something in the K2search box i get this bars, that it is searching, but nothing is displayed.
i also would like to get a plugin, to use the joomla build-in search and even the new indexing option in joomla 2.5. otherwise i need 2 search boxes :(
