I want to ask if anyone here know of a way to import all comments from K2 to Ja Comment?

We have a lots of comments in the K2 component and it's very important for us to get this imported into the JA Comment component.

I have already asked for help on Joomlart Forum and their response was

After consultation with our crew we don't see any EASY way to do this. While ja-comments will USE k2 comments natively I don't see how to "import" them.
Your going to need to ask k2 how to do this.

Any update of this? I'm trying to export my K2 comments as the native K2 system is about to be replaced with Disqus and it is integral that these comments are preserved.

I would assume that I could go through the database and manually copy & paste the necessary fields and compile my own XML or WXR file, but given the hundreds of comments that would take me days if not weeks.

Is there no simple way to export K2 comments?
