i d like to ask this:
i want to have item ordering like .. featured items first and the rest in alphabetical order
when i choose featured first then the rest come random
how can i make it ?????

I would also like this feature. It makes sense to me for "Featured First" to be a separate option independent of the search order. A checkbox instead of Sort Order Option. Right now if you select featured first I believe items are ordered by their ordering in the back end. There is no way to have Featured First and items in Alphabetical order unless you order them that way manually.

I'm sorry you didn't get a response here. Most people don't it seems.

As an moderately acceptable hack you can start the title of any of your featured items with '*' and they will show "alphabetically" before any letters or numbers so your featured Items will appear first.
