URL structure, why is item# there? was created by Bill Rust
How can I remove the ID from url's using K2 categories and items?

I have the core SEF enabled, etc,

st.billrust.com/category-link/itemlist/category/1-currently-registered
st.billrust.com/category-link/itemlist/user/42-superuser

I am trying K2 on 2 sites, and both do the same thing, they show the item or user number after the last / before the item name (or user)

Thanks,
BIll

No one?

I see even on this site that ID is in the URL, so is this something that K2 users just live with? Not very SEO friendly :-(

I just noticed the same issue while playing with K2, however, the problem is worse then just bad SEF. I am able to generate a user list from a site by simply replacing # with a list of numbers...

mydomain.com/index.php/component/k2/itemlist/user/#

Seems this component is always set to public and I can't figure out to disable it.
