I am wondering where k2's tools module in search mode inherits its itemid from?

I am having the problem on my site that searches don't get an itemid, which obviously screws stuff up.

I am using k2 and k2 mart (both are most recent versions), as a catalog that has 1600 products. The main product categories are assigned in a amenu, but i didn't bother with children categories.

I would be happy to share the temporary url if someone could take a look.

I have a similar problem - have you found a fix? I'm using the latest Joomla 1.7 and using the multilingual capabilities with the latest version of K2.

I'm using K2 2.5.4 on Joomla 2.5.1 (and the bug appaears with our without multilingual ON)

Hello,

In fact the problem of Itemid not parsed in the url happen only when SEF is disable on Joomla.
For another test, I enabled the core SEF functionality and everything was ok !

So I think it's more like a joomla problem than a pure K2 one.
To be checked...
