Image upload issues was created by Branden Smeltzer
I am unable to upload images in the images tab when adding an item. I was able to upload one image, only after I added a caption. Now, I cannot upload an image at all - with, or without a caption. No error message is received after trying to save item and image is not uploaded
-Permissions of /media/k2/item/src and ../cache are both 777, though I made sure they were 755 first
-Using Gavick template
-Using Joomla 1.7.5
-K2.5.4 installed
Thoughts?

Check your K2 dashboard information tab
Is mb_encoding enabled?
What is your max_upload size?
Do you have unusaual characters in the filename?
Try to upload different type of image files...
777 is not good read this www.dionysopoulos.me/blog/777-the-number-of-the-beast
admintools will "fix" all your permissions at onece

make sure you javascript is running in noconflict mode
if that isnt a problem, i would
switch templates and try,
then start disabling plugins one at a time to see if there is a conflict there
