I am working on a site for a customer and they want a blog section.

There is only one category and two users, me as Super User and the customer as Administrator.

If I make a blog item as Super User it will show up on the front end in the category. If the customer makes an item it doesn't show up in the category in the front end. In the back end the customers item is in the item listing and shows as published. Everything looks OK as far as I can see.

I have made a usergroup that have everything enabled (except front end editing) and all categories are selected for this group.

We will only make the items from the back end.

Why will the customers item not show up in the category? What is wrong?

I guess it is some kind of permission issue.

I found out why the items weren't published.

I set this users timezone to CET and that made the items publish time and written time one hour ahead of the present time or server time. So after one hour the items showed up on the site.

I'll change the timezone back to default for this user and everything would be OK.
