My category list has disappeared and cannot be accessed from the new items form (which means that I cannot add any new content). After selecting categories from the k2 dashboard, it comes up blank (no categories listed: However when i select items from the dashboard all items list the proper category under categories. In the frontend all categories are listed and searchable Etc. (www.plainnewlife.org).

What has happened? Has this happened to others? How can i fix this?
Please help, at the moment I cannot add new content.

I tried to repair the database. It did not fix problem.
I tried to add new category using the category form. It said that it saved it, but again it does not show up in the list or the new items form.
