I recently used Admin Tool from the maker of Akeeba Backup and somehow screwed up my permissions but good. Now when I try and upload a file in K2 it appears to upload it but it is not showing up in the front or back end. Where does K2 upload images to and is it possible that something got screwy after my permissions mishap?

K2 SEEMS to upload in the images folder but I found that it prefers to move things to the media/k2 folder.

Problem solved. It was a permissions issue in the media directory.
