How to setup mod_k2_user menu item? was created by Curtis
This problem is using Joomla 2.5.2 and k2 v2.5.5

When I set up a menu item for mod_k2_user, when I test the menu item I get the original Joomla login mod. If I use the redirection built in to Joomla 2.5.2 pointed to the mod_k2_user, I get mod_k2_user & Joomla's original login form. It does not make any difference if the Joomla login is disabled.

Also the mod_k2_user is not included in the list of the available menu selections when you setup the menu item.

The only way that I can get around this is to use the Helix shaper which includes a menu system that has a menu redirection to a module capability.

My question is how is this to be setup, as I am sure this is suppose to work with the mod_k2_user without adding any additional items to get it to function properly.

I hope some one has a solution to this.

Try putting the mod_k2user in a module position and logging in there

I made an menu entry setting an module assignment, using the "Module Assignment for this Menu Item", it gave me the joomla original login menu item even tho I selected the k2 user module and have the joomla "login form" set to no.

See attached screen print.
