Problems with uploading attachments files was created by Alyona
I tested K2 2.5.5 with Joomla 1.5 on my local server and found the problem with downloading attachments for some mime-types (files were corrupted when downloading).

This problem was solved by adding ob_end_clean();

before lines:

I have this on 2.5.6 Joomla 2.5
