1. Users can collect their favorite articles.
2. Each article shows the number of collections.
3. Each user has a collection of articles feature page.
4. Supporting the collection of articles display module.
5. The article list can sort by the number of collections.

I studied thread :

Someone has been working on it there, but it does not look like anyone got this fully operational.
It's not very hard to implement, and it seems to work OK on latest Joomla and K2 versions.

With the files implemented, one can add items to favorites in database.

I have been working on the files also.
I fixed one of the problems, but I'm stuck on the second one.

I can now add to favorites, remove from faorites with the fix I wrote, but not display them.

If you have any idea, you're all welcome !

I have exactly the same problem as you Shapes, everything works exept to view the users favourites...

Didn't get much further also for now.
I tried to mail the original author of the files, but no luck.

I think we'll have to figure this out ourselves.

I'm looking too for any k2 favortie system...

I need to give the possibility for my users to suscribe to some category.

All the category must be collected in a (my favorite category) page, the user can manage all the category in this page, it's mean delete the uninterested category.

When user have add some favorites cat, he is automaticaly notified by email when a new item is add in his favorite category...

The email send must just contain the title of the new article with the related link url... Or better, the title + image + intro text...

The administrator can target the cat where this function must be activate... or not...

That's all...

In fact, I just want that my user can suscribe to promotion category... When there is a new promo item, they are notified by email, and they can manage there promo cat... That's all ;)

In the bottom of my article I have button "Add to favourites"...
My question is how to remove that button?
