I am new to this forum so HI to all of you!
It´s been nearly 3 years since I started an escort agency (www.intimate-ladies.com) and now I have converted it into a directory and I am using K2 to add profiles. I wanted to know whether there is a way users can edit only their items?

To keep the website clean and tidy I have to create users manually from the backend each time someone wants to join and then will provide them with the username and password in order to edit their profiles.

If there is any simpler way to do this I would love to hear suggestions.

You might look into the ACL extension located on getk2.org accessible from the "extend k2" menu option.

When users register or if you make a user you can add them to a specific user group.

You can adjust the permissions to allow users to edit their own options:

Create: not allowed
Delete: not allowed
Edit: not allowed
Edit state: allowed
Edit Own: allowed
