Have you tried nonumber's "Modules Anywhere"? It should work ok...you could also set it to handle the {loadposition } tag and disable loadposition plugin altogether

Yes in fact I'm using it because of an issue with RokSproket. But it used to work in earlier versions of K2 I use it on my Joomla 1.5 site. It's just another bug to add to the list. Thanks for your response.
