Hi, I've used MultiNotify in the past to email notifications when a new comment is posted, but that extension is not compatible with Joomla 2.5.

Anyone know of any plugins for automatic comment notification that will work with 2.5?

Frankly, I'm a little surprised that an automatic notification to the author of the K2 item (and/or admins) when a new comment is posted is not core k2 functionality yet.
