K2 basic settings was created by R SIDJILANI
Dear Team,
On your Demo page: demo.getk2.org/categories : K2 Category List.
It would be nice to have the settings you have used for each demo.
I have tried to have my categories diplayed horizontally like yours in your K2 Category list demo, I have tried all sorts of permutations, it does not work, it only displays vertically.
Could you please include in your demos the settings, that would be a great help for people who are starting up with K2. It may be obvious to you, but it is not for everybody.
You have a great product, please provide us with the tools to recommend it to our clients.
I am using Joomla 2.5.3.
Many thanks for your help.

Many thanks William,
I have created a - K2 Tools module - called Footer
Basic options: Select module functionality -> Categories List (Menu)
Categories List (Menu) Settings
Select root category: Footer Master (Which is my master category for my footer)
Position: banner6 (this is where I want it to be at the moment)

I have created a category called: Master Footer as parent (Leading count 3, Column for leading 3)
I have also created 2 sub-categories:
Footer 1 test (child inheriting parameters from Footer Master)
Footer 2 test (child inheriting parameters from Footer Master as well)

This is how it is listed in position banner6
Footer
-Footer 1
-Footer 2

I would like it to be listed as:
Footer
Footer 1 Footer 2

I cannot see any parameter for displaying a menu list horizontally in K2, does it have to be done through CSS?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Richard

I think you are correct, and using a module class suffix would protect your other modules
