I have installed K2 on my joomla 2.5.3
i went to K2 component and clicked import joomla content and have imported everything
i tried to create new categories, item and tags in K2 and even clicked published
but i am unable to see the article on my homepage? issue resolved
what should i do to view articles published from K2 on my website?
How do i view my categories created on K2 on my website?

how to make K2 login form active on homepage?
how to make k2 tags active oh hompeage?

P.S: i have activated all the modules with name K2 and all plugins were already active

do we have to create category names again and connect in main menu using K2 categories?
what about the already created menu items from joomla? do they have to be unpublished?
wouldn't that be duplicate menu items and articles if the menu items, categories and articles are not unpublished in joomla?

Publish K2_users to a module position and be sure its set to show on the home page or all pages

Publish K2_tools to a module position..... .,....select "tag clould" at the top right

no you dont have to create new categories, if you dont need them
the menu choices from joomla and k2 will co-exist
just remember, there are two seperate things, items and articles...they exist seperately and do not mix
also, remember not to import twice as you will have duplicates in everything

I am confused now
items (K2) and article (joomla) are one and same thing right?
If i am publishing an item from k2 it will be published as an article on my website right?
I tried to link item to already existing joomla categories but the item wasn't linked, so I started creating categories again in K2 and de-activated categories in joomla. isn't this the way we are supposed to do? or i am doing something wrong here?
