Hello people:
We have a site on Joomla 1.7.2 and K2 v2.5.5, and we need that users of joomla group "Managers" can change field "Author" of k2 items. Playing around with K2 users group we discover that the only group that allow users to modify this field is "Site Owner", but it is not convenient because they have then full control over the component. We need a more restricted k2 group with this permision enabled.
Please forgive my very bad english...

You may need to add the "edit an item" priviledge to that group. I don't know about adding the ability to just edit the author on it's own.

About to add the "edit an item" priviledge, i did it and nothing happens. Is very strange but is true, and that´s the reason that motivates this post.
Any other ideas...? please...
