No sync between Joomla 2.5 and K2 user groups was created by mega
Hi ,
I'm using joomla 2.5 and K2_v2.5.5. When the new user is registered in the joomla (Joomla group Registered), it is not getting auto sync to K2 Registered Group.

K2 User Group Registered created.

In the K2 Parameters-> Advanced->Select the default K2 User Group for new registrations (Registered selected)

I've updated to 2.5.7 on Joomla 2.5.4 but still No sync between Joomla 2.5 and K2 user groups.

I'm having the exact same problem. Users that register on my site get added both to Joomla and K2 but NOT into the registered K2 group even though I have it set correctly in the configuration/parameters. So no one can post any comments on any of my articles - so frustrating.

I have searched and searched and haven't been able to find a solution.

Not sure if this is the solution for your problem, but give it a try anyway.

Try logging into your admin menu, go components -> k2, click on Parameters, go to the advanced tab and make sure that "Enable K2 User Profile" is selected as "yes".

Thanks Lazaros, it works with default form register.
But i have a Community Builder installed and i wanna use CB Login module. With CB form register this problem persists.
CB & K2 are sync and i am using latest version both in joomla 2.5.
Any help, please?

i have the same problem too but without CB.
in k2 configuration everyting is set un coorectly.

suggestions?
