link to post was created by argie
Hi,

this is a really newbie question, but I don't figure out how to do it here...

The problem is I created a category on K2, with 2 posts inside it. Now I wish to do a link pointing directly to every post, and I don't figure out how to get these paths.

On the old times, when I didn't use K2, the method I used to use was create a temporal menu item pointing to the post, get the link to the post, and then delete the menu item,

But now I tried the same with k2, and I found that when I delete the menu item I can't access to the posts...

Thank you for your help.

Try unpublishing the menu item , not deleting it

oh, no. I'm not using sef at all, because i'm testing on localhost.
But I also have an online site. So, I sent you an email with credentials for login, and some data to find the menus.

Thank you!

I did it a few hours ago (please, check your spam folder).

I was doing some tests, and what I found is I can't open an article using its url if this article isn't published on one of the menu's of the main menu.
Because I create a new menu, and then assigned the article to it. Even when this new menu is published (although it is not showed on frontpage, because I don't know how to do it) I got a 404 error when I try to see the article using its url.

thank you for your help.

Thank you for all your help, but finally I found a solution to this problem, by creating a new menu and assigned the article to it. Then I copy/paste the link to the article that is inside the article's item menu parameter.
