Hello all,

I'm pulling out my hair here so I really hope someone can shine some light on this.
I have installed: K2 v2.5.4 with Joomla v2.5.3 on my local server.

My website structure is as follows:

Main Portal - shows all content using its own menu + template
-> Sub-site 1 - shows only selected content, using its own menu + template
-> Sub-site 2 - shows only selected content, using its own menu + template
-> Sub-site 3 - shows only selected content, using its own menu + template

you get the idea

In K2, I have a categories + subcategories to organize article items.

The hierarchy of the particular menu items in 2 different menu's are as follows:

Main Portal menu :
Catalog (alias: all-music)
- Singles (alias: single)
- Compilations (alias: comps)

Sub-site menu:
Catalog (alias: catalog)
- Singles (alias: singles)
- Compilations (alias: compilations)


In Main Portal Menu - Catalog
I have selected 3 K2 Categories, some are used in Sub-site1 and some in Sub-site2. The problem that I have is:
When I hover over the article titles in category view, SOME link to :
Main Portal menu :
Catalog (alias: all-music)
- Singles (alias: single)

and SOME link to:
Sub-site menu:
Catalog (alias: catalog)
- Singles (alias: singles)

The last one is the problem because it also loads the template of the sub-site.. while I just want the article categories to be used from Main Portal !??! Why is this happening??
I compared everything and I can't find any difference in settings.
