hi,

on my local server my installation of joomla 1.5 and k2 2.5.4 works fine.
But on the hosted server of my client there is no possibilty to upload images or change the avatar-picture. No warning about it, when I do, just nothing changes in the output.
In the backend i can change the avatar, but can't load images as well, when i write an article there.
the media-manager works well.

the permissions of all folders are correct.
could it be, that register globals should be off?
the hoster has it on!
