I have some compatibility issues with the users' features in K2 and Joomla 2.5.

When I install K2, the registration page turns the K2 users' form registration, and that's complicated for me, cause I need very much to use the extended profie feature from Joomla 2.5.

I've discover that unpublishing the K2 System Plugin, this problem get "solved", but... what get bad now is with K2, that seens to be ALL unpublish, no menu page with K2 content can be view (error).

There's some patch, plugin or configuration that I can do to solve this?
Or the problem get solved, or I will have to unistall the K2, what I don't want to do, cause this extension is awesome!! It's prsent in all my sites untill this in particular.

In plugins/system/k2/k2.php, line 174, I've commented it

// $view->setLayout('register');

It seens to work fine, I'm running some tests, if I get some error, I'll report.
Could we seen in future versions a parameter in this plugin to choose what form we want?

My issue was resolved. :cheer:
I noticed my site was using K2 v. 2.5.1 (mostly :blink: ), and simply upgraded it to v. 2.5.7. :lol:
