Hi,
I am building a content based community driven website and am learning the ropes of K2. Front end submission of articles by registered members is essential in this site. However, as one clicks the add content button on the user module in K2, a pop box appears with a toggle sidebar option. In this sidebar there are parameters such as access level permissions and author alias that I have to disable; simply because that would confuse my users besides other reasons.

There is also a button below the content writing block that accesses the image gallery of the website, I can not let the users access that as well. How do I disable toggle sidebar and these other options for front end members?

It would be so very helpful if you can guide me through this process.

I am wondering the same thing. How can we disable the Sidebar altogether. We don't want our user's filling out this information.
