I am using K2 the latest version 2.5.6.

I am trying to edit and existing item or category and I can not.
Clicking on 'save' or any of those buttons like 'save and close' does not work.

Seems like a bug.

Please help!

Seems to happen with me with Joomla in general.. try closing your browser, clearing your cache.. if still persisting, make sure you do the check ins and clear cache under site / maintenance in the joomla menus. That usually does the trick for me.

I have fixed my problem. I went into K2 parameters.
In 'layout and views' there is a 'css and javascript settings'
Then there is a parameter called 'Backend jQuery & jQuery UI handling'.
Changed that to 'loads local copy of jquery and jquery UI'.

This resolved my issues and now my save buttons work again!!
